Volunteer Opportunities

 

We offer two types of volunteer roles:

1. Coaching Volunteers (Direct Athlete Interaction)

If you’re interested in coaching and working directly with athletes, you must complete the following three-step certification process through USATF:

✔ USATF Membership Card
✔ Background Check
✔ SafeSport Online Training

This ensures a safe and supportive environment for all athletes while maintaining compliance with national youth sports standards.

2. Support Volunteers (Admin & Event Support)

If you’d like to help with tasks such as snack distribution, managing equipment, handing out uniforms, fundraising,  or assisting with event logistics, no certification is required.

​

For those who want to provide limited in-person support at events without full certification, we can request special approval from USATF to issue event wristbands. This does not require a background check or SafeSport training, but approval is handled on a case-by-case basis.
